The WhisperKOOL system of wine cellar cooling units use a patented Liquid-Measuring Thermostat. The units incorporate a probe designed to measure the liquid temperature in a wine bottle rather than the air temperature of the cellar. In this way they are able to maintain the wine at a precise, measured temperature.
